Cindy Tripp, Owner/Operator/Groomer

Cindy is a graduate of the Animal Arts Academy, a state accredited professional pet grooming school. Both of her parents were lifetime members of the White River Golden Retriever Club. They raised Cindy around these dogs and taught her to train and treat the animals with respect. She also learned to show them in both the ring and in the field. She has spent her entire life loving and caring for all types of animals and would love the opportunity to care for yours.

She grew up next door to the kennel and graduated from Westfield Washington High School in 1985. She pursued a career in marketing and printing for 20+ years, including a freelance desktop publishing company she operated while working full time. Cindy bought this property and started a farm in 1997 where she raised goats, horses, cows, a pig and, of course, dogs and cats. She left corporate America in 1999 to be a proprietor of a small restaurant in Eagletown. It was a blessing that allowed her to personally get to know the people in her community . Cindy was very happy with her life and loved serving people on a daily basis but this was not GODS plan for her. A spiritual awakening showed her that her true gifts were with our furry friends and if she was to follow her utmost passion and utilize GODS gifts she would need to focus her world towards them. She enrolled in grooming school in 2007 to hone her previous skills, after graduating she started Heavenly Care Kennels. Her family and friends supported her as she created a loving, fun, safe haven for our furry friends to come to. She continues to put her heart and soul into the business and by word of mouth it has become what it is today.


SARAH is another bright light that shines here at Heavenly Care Kennels. She is a positive upbeat role model for us all, and has a great work ethic. She is wonderful with all dog breeds and knows how to read their body language. This skill is invaluable when determining individual dogs needs. You can see her devotion to each guest through her attention to detail and ability to follow through. She is proficient in all aspects of caring for our guests, including grooming and customer service. This makes her an excellent shift leader and trainer for all of our new employees. Prior to staring with us in 2014 Sarah spent 15+ years in the residential and commercial cleaning industry. She brings a wealth of knowledge that ensures we are the cleanest we can be. Sarah continues to be a major contributor to our success. We are very proud she is part of our team and hope she stays with us a very long time.


HEATHER has 20 years experience in customer service with the last 9 years working in animal related fields. She has helped organize community-based projects to create pet awareness and education in elementary schools. She also helped to establish the Saving Grace program; which assists in rehabilitating special needs dogs at the Kokomo Humane Society, allowing for more successful adoptions. You will find her here Monday through Friday and some weekends. She is the hub of internal communications and keeps each shift current on the ever-changing information intake. We are glad to have her enthusiasm and experience here with us. We believe you will enjoy working with her in person, via phone or email to help take care of all your needs. 


RANDY has been working in boarding facilities for 10+ years. He started with us in 2016 and is a natural at getting along with our guests.  We value him as an important part of our team. He loves being outside and interacting and playing with each guest as he bonds with them one-on-one.



MONICA is a 1991 graduate of Indiana University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in social work. She went on to work 10+years in management for group homes and a sheltered workshop; which serviced people with developmental delays and physical impairments. In 2004 after battling and surviving stage 4 cancer and losing her 17 ½ year old beloved dog, Maggie May, she took on a whole new career. She was approached with the opportunity to work at a groom shop as an apprentice. There, working under a grooming instructor, she started as a bather and worked her way up to becoming a groomer. She genuinely loves all fur babies. She believes and adheres to our mission to treat every guest as one of our family members. Her top priorities are safety, cleanliness and showering them all with unconditional love. She  strives to make them look and feel their best. 



DAYNA also grew up in Westfield and graduated with Cindy in 1985. She went on to attend Huntington University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management. She worked several summers across the nation teaching and nurturing kid's while at summer camps. For 20+ years she worked at Stoney Creek Swim Center where she taught kid's of all ages to swim. She created a safe environment in a therapy pool for special needs children, which she enjoyed very much. A company restructure forced her too seek other employment and she started at Heavenly Care Kennels in 2010. Once she started playing and caring for the babies, she was hooked. She loves all fur babies and has a ball coming up with a variety of games and such to stimulate their minds and ensure they are active. She is currently certified in CPR and first aid for the Professional Rescuer and helps all of our staff to achieve their Dog CPR training and certification. We are very honored to have her on our team and hope she stays with us a very long time.   

Meet the Volunteers


MATT is Cindy’s husband and her biggest supporter. He is a Jack of all trades and a real blessing. He fixes what we break and builds what we need. He’s our Face Book Manager and our best puppy photographer. He works a full-time job, and still, he’s a huge help here. Journie, our granddaughter, loves playing with the fur babies and we enjoy her learning valuable life lessons in the process. 

The above people mentioned are our core people you will see and talk to. You will see other care givers working as well. We schedule more help when we are busier, like holidays and summer time.  I can assure you anyone helping here will do a great job caring for your baby.
