Cindy Tripp, Owner/Operator/Groomer

Cindy is a graduate of Animal Arts Academy- a state accredited professional pet grooming school. Both of her parents were lifetime members of the White River Golden Retriever Club and raised Cindy around the dogs and taught her to train the animals with respect and to show them both in the ring and in the field. She has spent her entire life loving and caring for all types of animals and would love the opportunity to care for yours.

She grew up next door and graduated from Westfield Washington High School in 1985. She pursued her career in marketing and printing for 20+ years including a freelance desktop publishing company she operated while working full time. Cindy bought the property beside her mom's and started the farm in 1997 where she has raised goats, horses, cows a pig and of course dogs and cats. She left corp America in 1999 to be a proprietor of a small restaurant in Eagletown where she was blessed with really getting to know the people in her own community. Cindy was very happy with her life and loved serving people on a daily basis but this was not what GODS plan was for her. Spiritual awakening showed her true gifts were with our furry friends and if she was to follow her up most passion and utilize GODS gifts she would need to focus her world towards them. She enrolled in groom school 2007 to hone her previous skills and after graduating, started Heavenly Care Kennels. Her family and friends supported her as she created a loving, fun, safe haven for our furry friends to come to. She continues to put her heart and soul into the business and by word of mouth it has become what it is today.

SARAH is another bright light that shines here at Heavenly Care Kennels. She is a positive upbeat role model for us all and has great work ethics. You can see her devotion to each guest through her attention to detail and follow through. She is proficient in all aspects of caring for our guest including grooming and customer service. This makes her an excellent shift leader and our new hire trainer. Prior to her staring with us in 2014 Sarah spent 15+ years in residential and commercial cleaning industry. She brings a wealth of knowledge that ensures we are the cleanest we can be. Sarah continues to be a major contributor to our success. We are very proud she is part of our team and hope she stays with us forever. .

HEATHER has 20 years’ experience in customer service, including the last 9 years in animal related fields. She helped organize community-based projects to create pet awareness and education in elementary schools. She also helped to establish the Saving Grace program to assist in rehabilitating special needs dogs from the Kokomo Humane Society to allow for more successful adoptions. You will find her here Monday through Friday and some weekends. She will be the hub of internal communications to keep each shift current on the ever-changing information. We are glad to have her enthusiasm and experience and believe you will enjoy working with her in person or via phone or email.

RANDY has been working at the boarding facilities for over 8 years now. He is a natural with our guests and we value him as an important part of our team. He loves being outside and interacting with each guest and Randy is able to bond with them one-on-one.

Dayna also grew up in Westfield and graduated with Cindy in 1985. She went on to attend Huntington University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management. She worked several summers across the nation teaching and nurturing kid's while at summer camps. For 20+years she worked at Stoney Creek Swim Center where she taught kid's of all ages to swim and created a safe environment in a therapy pool for special need's children which she enjoyed very much. A company restructure forced her too seek other employment and she started at Heavenly Care Kennels in 2010. Once she started playing and caring for the babies, she was hooked. She loves all furry babies and has a ball coming up with a variety of games and such to stimulate their minds and ensure they are active. She is currently certified in CPR and first aid for the Professional Rescuer and help all of the staff achieve their Dog CPR training and certification. We are very honored to have her on our team. And hope she stays with us forever.

ALICIA is a student at Westfield Washington High School and J. Everett Light Career Center where she is majoring in Business and Animal Science. She lives near by and brought her Yorkie, Oakely, to stay with us several years before she joined our team in 2015. She is always excited to see the fur babies and gives each one special attention. Her bubbly positive personality is always a hit with our guest. She rolls around on the floor with them, snuggles them and gives all her love to each one. Her vet tech training and compassion for the fur babies has proven invaluable. Especially when caring for those living with impairments.

Meet the Volunteers

MATT is Cindy’s husband and her biggest supporter. He is a Jack of all traits and a real blessing. He fixes what we break and builds what we need. He’s our Face Book Manager and our best puppy photographer. He does have a full-time job and still he’s a huge help. He is a father of three and a grandpa of two. His youngest son Brock likes helping at the kennel. He does a great job and knows lots of our guests. Journie our granddaughter especially loves meeting the fur babies and we enjoy her learning a valuable life lessons in the process.
